Laser reviews, opinions, buying guides and advice - Another Laser Company

Why I created this site:

Welcome to AnotherLaserCompany.com!

Are you looking for a reliable/trustworthy company to buy a laser from? I’ve tried to save you some work! I’ve purchased from many different manufactures, eBay stores, etc. I wanted to write down my experiences and share them with other people starting in the hobby. I have collected links and companies of good laser resources. Where possible, I have written reviews of the products and I will try to provide some tutorials for beginners as well.

In addition to Reviews, I have: Photos, Videos and Tutorials.

Companies I’ve personally dealt with and would recommend:

Wicked Lasers (http://www.wickedlasers.com)
Thoughts: I’ve ordered from them several times and I have always gotten the shipment within a few days. Great & fast service is what WL is known for. For the beginner, they have a great selection of optics and accessories to get you started. I HIGHLY recomend their eye protection. They have the best prices of anyone I’ve found and the are top-quality. (For those wondering, the LaserShades work great with glasses…)

LaserPointer.com (http://www.laserpointer.com)
Thoughts: The Core is easily the best 5mw green laser pointer I’ve used. I have had an assortment of ledlight lasers but the build quality on this thing is tops. It feels sturdy and the matte black finish makes this look professional. When I use this in meetings, it gets more attention than I do. (Which may be a good thing…)

TechLasers.com (http://www.techlasers.com)
Thoughts: They have a great selection of high power lasers as well as non-standard colors: Blue, yellow, etc. For the more serious enthusiast, this is the place to go.

Starphaser (http://www.starphaser.com/)
Thoughts: If astronomy is your interest, these lasers will help you point out distant stars - and probably attract a crowd at the same time.

Atlas Nova (http://www.atlasnova.com/)
Thoughts: I ordered a 650nm and 635nm laser from them and the transaction was great. The products shipped quickly and I was happy with the quality of the lasers. If you are looking for low-power red pointers, they are worth checking out!
